IZGE is an software development company. We have always been managing projects, so at the end of 2015, we decided to share our experiences as consultancy and trainings. We already had our PMP Certifications.
So at the end of 2016, IZGE became a PMI – Registered Education Provider, with a very valuable trainer group. At that time, we have been thinking on developing a project management system.
We searched the market for the project management systems and we haven’t come across a one that has the functions that we want our system have! It was a great opportunity for us!
What did the system in our dreams look like?
It should guide us, first of all. It should provide us with the needed information, to gain “go – no go” decisions. And we could understand what else we needed in order to go with the idea when we enter the system.
At the end, we come up with an “information system” that also enhances our project management processes.
While initiating the project, you can develop your charter digitally, and it can be digitally approved too. While planning, you can both develop project management plans in the system, or you can upload too!
When it comes to your project scope, schedule and cost baselines, you can add your deliverables and work breakdown structure. Then you can list your activities. You can relate your deliverables with the requirements. We are going to publish many articles on the competencies. But here I’d rather let you know that you can keep all your project documents in A’bra Spectra and keep track of them, both. You can baseline scope, schedule and cost within the system.
This system also allows you to develop governance processes such as “Project Change System”. You can request a change, and this request can be handled within a process defined in A’bra Spectra. Request can be documented, assessed, summitted for evaluation, and keep track in the system. And when changes occur, baselines are versioned.
So, if you want a project management system which allows you to transfer knowledge and help you mature in project management, then, A’bra Spectra is just for you.
